IEEE IAS 2020年度奖励揭晓，三位华人专家获奖！

近日，2020年 IEEE IAS Society Level Award 获奖名单正式公布。在学会此次颁发的5项顶级奖励中，华人专家斩获其中三项。其中，美国佛罗里达州立大学的彭方正教授获得“IEEE IAS Outstanding Achievement Award”， 阿肯色大学的Zhao Yue助理教授获得“IEEE IAS Andrew W. Smith outstanding Young Member Achievement Award”， 华北电力大学的丁肇豪副教授获得“IEEE IAS Outstanding Young Member Service Award”。

Fang Z. Peng (M’92–SM’96–F’05) received the B.S. degree in electrical engineering from Wuhan University, Wuhan, China, in 1983, and the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering from the Nagaoka University of Technology, Nagaoka, Japan, in 1987 and 1990, respectively. He is currently with Florida State University, Tallahassee, FL, USA, where he is a Professor with the Center for Advanced Power Systems.His principle scholarly interests include power electronics, motor drives, hybrid electric vehicles, and renewable energy interface systems. He is a fellow of the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE) and an IEEE Distinguished Lecturer, traveling the U.S. and internationally to speak on power electronics, motor drives, hybrid electric vehicles, and renewable energy interface systems.

Dr. Yue Zhao received a Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, Lincoln, USA, in 2014. Since August 2015, he has been with the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville, where he is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering. Dr. Zhao's current research interests include electric machines and drives, power electronics, and renewable energy systems. He holds 4 U.S. patents and co-authored more than 50 papers in refereed journals and international conference proceedings. Dr. Zhao is an Associated Editor of the IEEE Transactions on Industry Applications. Dr. Zhao was a recipient of 2018 National Science Foundation CAREER Award.

丁肇豪，华北电力大学电气与电子工程学院副教授，硕士生导师，电力市场研究所副所长，入选北京市优秀人才培养资助计划，长期从事运筹学和人工智能方法在电力市场、电动交通系统等信息-物理-社会系统中的应用研究。主持及参与国家自然科学基金、国家发改委、国家能源局、繁荣基金、国家电网、南方电网等30余项国家级和省部级纵向和横向科研项目。发表高水平学术论文50余篇，其中SCI二区及以上期刊发表论文20余篇。作为主笔人之一参与了国家能源局《电力市场基本规则》、《电力市场监管办法》等规则的草拟工作。作为主要成员参与了多个省市和区域电力市场建设方案的研究和起草工作。获中国能源创新奖二等奖、IEEE IAS年度最佳论文奖、北美电力系统年会最佳论文奖、德克萨斯能源挑战赛最受欢迎论文奖等学术奖励。担任多项学术兼职，其中包括IEEE IAS MG & VPP分委会主席，IEEE IAS DER分委会副主席，中国电机工程学会能源系统专委会副秘书长，IEEE TIA编委，多个IEEE Trans.期刊评审及国际学术会议TPC等。

IEEE IAS Society Level Award自1969年起设立，以表彰每年在电力工业应用领域做出杰出贡献的科技工作者，奖项获奖人员均为该领域国际知名学者，许多曾担任IEEE分会主席，或任IEEE所属期刊主编。

IEEE作为是国际上最大的学术组织之一，致力于电气、电子、计算机工程等多领域的研究工作，其下设有多个专业分会，其中，IEEE工业应用学会（IEEE IAS Society）是IEEE下属最大的学会之一，同时也是历史最悠久的一批分会之一。IEEE IAS Society成立于1965年，一直旨在满足电气电子学科在工商业应用领域中的特别需求，学会目前成员数达15000人，发展至今已成为IEEE成员规模第五大的分会。

IEEE IAS Society旨在将电气电子学科的研究理论和应用实践相结合，以此促进技术发展造福人类。学会下设多个子委员会，每年举办大量具有国际影响力的学术/技术研讨会，其中包括最具国际影响力的顶级学术会议IEEE IAS Annual Meeting等。为了更好的服务亚太地区学者和从业人员，IEEE IAS从2020年起开始主办IEEE工商业电力系统亚洲会议（IEEE I&CPS Asia）。2020年7月，由山东大学等校承办的第一届IEEE工商业电力系统亚洲会议以网络会议的形式顺利举行，薛禹胜院士、Tomy Sebastian博士、孙宏斌教授和别朝红教授分别作了主旨演讲。受全球疫情影响，来自世界各地的数百名电力行业的高校人才及工商业学者以视频会议的方式参与了本次活动，并进行了热烈的线上交流讨论。

除大量高水平学术会议外，IEEE IAS Society还参与制定许多IEEE标准，并出版三份期刊集，分别为《IEEE Transactions on Industry Applications》、《IEEE Industry Applications Magazine》和《Open Journal of Industry Applications》。
